Audioworks is the Dunedin, New Zealand, home based, hobby ,
audio production studio of Barry McConnachie
With over 45 years experience in Radio, Television and Multimedia production,
Barry recently retired as Senior Producer at Mediaworks Otago
(formally Radio Otago), a position he held since returning to Dunedin in 1983,
overseeing the expansion from 1 to over 10 radio brands in that time.
As well as achieving many Radio Production Awards over the years,
he was recognised with a coverted Services to Broadcasting Award
at the 2020 NZ Radio Awards..
Barry maintains his passion for audio and music in retirement by continuing to
perform with his longtime band, Sidewalk Sally, and contributing, mixing and
mastering friend's musical projects as well as mentoring,
and helping out friends and industry colleagues.in all forms of audio production.
