Audioworks is the Dunedin, New Zealand, hobby and audio production studio of Barry McConnachie

After 45years of living and breathing Radio,Television and Multimedia production,
most recently wrapping up a lengthy and rewarding career as Senior Producer at Mediaworks Otago,
I decided 'retirement' didn't mean turning down the volume.

Audioworks is my Dunedin based home studio where I keep my passion for audio alive..
When I'm not playing out with my longtime band Sidewalk Sally, you'll often find me in the studio
helping people make things sound fantastic.

Over the decades, I've been incredibly fortunate.to win my share of Radio Production Awards,
including the Services to Broadcasting Award at the 2020 NZ Radio Awards

I'm channeling that professional experience into mentoring, mixing, mastering, and collaborating
with friends, industry contacts, and anyone who asks.
